Nick's Return to Training
I just wrote an entire summary of my last year, and then the forum ate it. The one time I don't copy and paste...
So I'll keep it simple this time. I'm Nick. I used to be super active, but haven't been on the forum in about 4 years. I kept lifting until June 2021 when I moved to Florida. Since then, life has been a real challenge. Turning the corner now though, so I have time that I can dedicate to training more seriously. My goals are to simply start regaining my strength and losing some weight along the way. Currently, I'm 263, which is right around where I settle when I don't train or watch what I eat. Goal is 240-245, which was me at my strongest. I can get down into the 220s, but I don't have the dietary discipline for that.
September 5, 2022 (Day 1)
Weight: 263
Squat: 45x5x2, 95x5, 135x5x2
Bench: 45x5x2, 75x5, 95x5x2
Deadlift: 135x5x2
That's it. I just wanted to move a little weight. My form feels just fine, but I'll video soon to make sure it's on point. I knew I would get DOMS even with this small amount of work (((I did, by the way))), so this was all I needed.
