This is probably a stupid question that is going to get me thrashed, but I'm going to risk it. I'm going to be in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the Texas hill country for about 3 weeks this summer. I want to do everything I can to avoid or minimize NLPing when I get back home. Last time I went, it felt good to flip big logs and do pushups and jump around with stones, but I feel it didn't do much in the way of preserving strength. I know there's no real way to fully simulate a 325 lb squat and a 425 lb deadlift, but is there anything you guys would recommend to minimize the setback? I know there's a lot of hype about band systems like Harambe and X3. Any thoughts there?
