There's a simple wave loading routine of singles at a certain percentage of 1RM, once weekly you can try. Because your never using more than 85%, and because the first few weeks are more like a speed deadlift workout, it's not difficult to do with that frequency and probably won't tap into your squatting as much. It goes:

    Week 1**65% x 15 sets x 1 rep
    Week 2**70% x 12 sets x 1 rep
    Week 3**75% x 10 sets x 1 rep
    Week 4**80% x 8 sets x 1 rep
    Week 5**85% x 6 sets x 1 rep
    Week 6**MAX*

I have my programming figured out for my DL nowadays.

C/P is an interesting peaking program, but it isn't something you can run as a long term solution.

Ah, I didn't see the age of this thread when I had posted. I'm curious though, why do you think it's not a viable long term program?

It's a peaking program, it's not mean for that.

try plugging in numbers and you'll quickly see why it's not long-term

if you say you're going from 400 to 600, your first workout is 450 x 2 lol

Ah, my bad. I thought his post was referring to mine. The program I posted is on chaos and pain.com so I thought C/P = chaos/pain.

"Chaos and pain" probably works fine for someone with a fair amount of experience.

    lol, I didn't even make the connection. When I said C/P, I meant Coan/Phillipi.

Hit us up on the regular thread. Or my new thing. There will be Wang on here. I choose not to indulge in it.

There isn't as much to be concerned about as you think.

He told him to go to the 2012 thread, or to f4's log, because this thread is destined to have some craziness on it, and he wants no part in it.

Every time I think I am getting fluent at pathspeak, he throws a curve-ball, but I am confident about this translation. =)

Tom: what have you changed for your deadlift programming that has worked? I'm hitting a wall at roughly the same numbers as you.
