Default Russian Squat Program for barbell thrusters

Since the Russian Squat Program is designed for squats and presses decided to run it on my thrusters. My actual 1rm is upwards of 230 but decided to go with 222 just to be safe. My goal is a thruster at 245, 275 and eventually 300. For anyone who is experienced with RSP please share any stories, thoughts and advice. Thanks

A joke how? That's a serious question and Thrusters are bad ass! If you could do a thruster at 300 that would probably be the single most awesome lift that you've ever done in your whole entire life. I never said whether I was or was not a crossfiter however the responses I get when discussing thrusters proves that there's a deep disdain for it. Why does everyone have such a deep seeded disdain for crossfit? Klokov or Rob Orlando doing thrusters at 325 plus is probably a greater feat than every starting strength posters workout log combined

Why would you discuss the Russian squat program on a starting strength forum? Those dudes also squat and deadlift and press a lot of weight. The thruster is no more than a realization of strength accumulated by other means. Want to get your thruster up? Get all your other lifts up.
