I'm in week 8 of my NLP and my deadlifts suck. I am 6'1" and 250lbs. My deadlifts are currently at 235 for set of 5 and I recently switched from 10lb jumps to 5 lb jumps, in comparison I'm currently at 230 for my squat for 3 sets of 5. I'm thinking for my "B" workout I would rotate a heavy day and a med/light day for my Deadlifts.

So for my heavy day I would do 1 set of 5. So Lets say I do this on Monday, Then on Friday I would do a lighter deadlift day. I was thinking in the 80%-90% range of my heavy day. Do you think it would be best for me to do just 1 set of 5 on this lighter day? Or should I add more volume to it? I really want to get my deadlifts jump started, and I could use the added work to grease the grove and improve my form on it.

What do you guys think of this? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Age? Waist measurement? Are you deadlifting MWF? Get your form checked.

+1 on the form check recommendation

squats could be high (depth wise), causing artificially high squat working weights
