    I also have another question. My squat is at in the intermediate phase but my bench is still clearly at the beginner level due to a lack of weight gain on my part. I was 170lbs at 5'10 when I finished my lp. I'm thinking of doing bench starting strength style on Mon and Fri and proceeding with the rest of the lifts in a linear periodization format a la GGW. What does everyone think of this? I know I should have just put on the size during the lp but I'm in college at the moment and have other priorities.

    Eat more. It will help more than programming at this stage.

    +1. many of us (ahem, me) have been right where you are and that's one thing we would likely agree we would have done differently. Esp w/r/t the presses eating more will have more effect than just about any programming tweak you'd make. Calories and sleep.
