    Hi Andy,

I'm trying to get a karate buddy of mine to train for strength, but combined with work and karate practice, he can only train Saturday, Sunday and every other Wednesday. Is it even feasible to train on a schedule like that? I was thinking he could do an upper/lower body split Sat/Sun and perhaps throw in a light/medium day every other Wednesday?

    His stats are:
    Age: 24
    Height: ~180cm
Weight: 85kg (as he is fighting in the below 85kg weightclass, he can't add much weight, but he has some fluff he can get rid of)

    SQ: 125kg 3x5
    DL: 140 x5
    Bench: 80 3x5

I'm asking on his behalf because he is Chinese and doesn't speak English.

Probably upper lower on Sat/Sun or you could do like Sat: Squat/Bench, Sun: Press/DL. But I'd probably go with something like Sat: Bench/Press/Dips and Sun: Squat/Deadlift/Chins. Then on Weds do an extra Squat/Press/Deadlift workout
