Need clarification on women and triples
Coach Andy,
I have (sort of) got my wife started on SS. Should I look to get her to complete her squat, bench, press and Deadlift volume in triples? Eg: Squat/bench/press - 5 sets x 3 reps and deadlift 1 set x 3 reps
Should 3RM be the basis of strength progress for women as 5RM is for men? How would that pan out when she progresses to an intermediate program like HLM?

I always start with 5s and run that out as long as possible before I do 3s. If you start with 3s it doesn't give you much room to adjust when/if she gets stuck.
