    Hi,
I'm about to start the GGW program. Can I substitute "heavy" SGDL for my light deadlift day? If so, would I determine my max SGDL and keep the prescribed percentage, or should I program for sets of 5 and try to hit a new PR each week? Due to crappy squats, I like SGDLs because they mimic heavy squats.

    Thank you

Yes you can. Keep volume the same. Titrate weight on day one until you hit something challenging but doable for 3x6
