    Default Texas Method Question

I'm a firefighter running starting strength NLP currently moving along and happy with the program. I have modified the program in that I don't lift 3 times a week instead I lift every third day. This ensures consistent recovery. Alternating A and B workouts on SS has been great. Is there an intermediate program that would work similarly? I looked into Texas Method and thought on my every third day lifting schedule it would hurt Texas Method in dragging out weekly workouts to long before hitting new PR's and circling back.

If its modifiable, or isn't, is their a program that fits my snowflake scheduling?

TM on that kind of schedule might cause you to lose some of your adaptation to volume. The break between will probably be too long.

2 days in between lifting sessions is too long?

I think he's referring to the nine day period between volume days.

Best I can think of now to move toward near weekly PR's in an LP format with A and B workouts would be to hit different PR's on different days.

    Workout A
    Squat 3X5
    Press 3X5
    Barbell Row 3X5
    Bench 2X5 or 3X5 @80%

    Workout B
    Squat 2X5 or 3X5 @80%
    Deadlift 1X5
    Bench 3X5
    Press 2X5 or 3X5 @80%
