Default Best way to run LP

    Male 5'10" 37yrs old 198lb

Been running LP 9weeks now eating for slow recomp. Lifts are going up but getting heavy now. I read that whilst trying for recomp it may be necessary to move to Advanced Novice programming sooner than normal. Ive switched Bench and Press to micro loading to prevent stall.

    Squat 117.5kg 3x5
    Deadlift 125kg 1x5
    Bench 83kg 3x5
    Press 50kg failed 3x5 x3 so reset to 45kg
    Chins 3x8,7,6 bodyweight

I'm struggling too much learning Power Clean so decided to just go with Pendlay Rows. Should i stick with 3x5 on these or higher reps? Also my gym doesnt have a back extension piece of kit so what would you advise in place should i movd to Advance Novice? The Good Morning?

    Apreciate any advice thanks

back extensions or reverse hypers can be simulated by putting a bench on an incline and leaning over it (like you are trying to give yourself the heimlich). 3x5 on rows are fine just don't call them Pendlay Rows.

Do you suggest warming up for rows like you do the other lifts?

yes. Also depends on how heavy it is that will determine number of warm up sets.
