I think you're right, it would probably be better for me to ease myself into the new training block after a whole week off, so without a week off usually 1 introductory week between blocks would be enough?

Just asking so that I know what I'm doing when the next block comes.

Ok so I'm gonna use this setup now:

    Week1: Day1: 2sets Day2: 3sets Day3: 4sets
    Week2: Day1: 3sets Day2: 4sets Day3: 5sets
    Week3: the program

Should I still be doing the weekly AMRAP set on the last set on Day3 (Friday) ?
I liked the AMRAP sets so far because it let's me know where I'm at and I can base my weights for the next week upon it. Think Zourdos calls it an "Autoregulatory Progressive Resistance Exercise (APRE)".

    Also for the 864 beginning in Week3 I'd start with 4x8 @ 70% ; 4x6 @ 75% ; 4x4+ @ 80%

Can the intensities be the same for Week1 & Week2, so I'd just cut out some of the sets and the rest is the same?

Well, depends on the context but usually 1 week is enough. AMRAP is fine, I'd lower those percentages for 5% and add 1 set on day2 and 2 sets on day3 but I'm not an expert. It just seems illogical to me to drop the set count for this block.

Yeah, keep intensities the same and add weight if you can on first 2 weeks.
