Texas Method press and bench weekly
Stats- male, 5’10”,230lb
Squat-430x3
Dead-460x3
Bench-300x3
Press-195x2
Currently following Andy bakers garage gym warrior for my second run, want to switch to a 3 day Texas method when I am done. Last time I tried the standard Texas method as written my pres and bench stalled way before my squat and deadlift. In order to get more pressing in I am considering the following;
Monday
Squat vol
Bench int
Rdl
Wednesday
Press volume
Deadlift intensity
Bb rows
Friday
Squat intensity
Press intensity
Bench volume
The only thing I am leaving out is the light squat day. Will this seriously hamper my progress on the squat, or is the light squat day largely unnecessary?

You are likely going to miss the light squat. Not sure why you need to drop the light squat on this template. You might be better off doing a 4 day split if you want to drive both bench and press at the same time.
