Post novice programming
Hi All,
Just wanted to get your view on this early intermediate programming.
Was thinking of doing the the following 3 day full body rotation.
Week 1
I squat+Bench 3x5 at 85% of 5RM
II dead 2x5+press 3x5 at 85% of 5RM
III squat+Bench 2x3 at 5RM
Week 2
I dead+press 2x3 at 5RM
II Squat+Bench 3x5 at 85% + 5 lbs
III Dead+prest 85% + 5 lbs
Week 3
I squat+Bench 2x3 at 5RM + 5 lbs
II dead+press 2×3 at 5RM + 5 lbs
III squat+Bench 3x5 at 85% + 5lbs
I would alternate lower intensity 3x5 @ 85% increasing 5 lbs each time sessios with higher intensity progression as per below.
High intensity sessions
Workouts 1 -3
2x3 adding 5lb after each session
Workouts 4-5
3×2 adding 5lb after each session
Workouts 6-7
5+1 adding 5lb after each session
Workout 8, go for 1rm
Deload, then start again with new recalculated weights.

A little confused. So when you say: "III squat+Bench 2x3 at 5RM" Does that mean you are taking your 5RM and doing 2 sets of 3?
Did you just come off of your novice LP?
