    Hey guys,

I just finished my first meet in Hong Kong and I'm planning on moving into HLM. The reason being is that I'll do my military service in Finland, so I would like to prepare myself and I also think it's time to move on from being an advance novice. I just want to see if you guys think I'm heading in the right path and would love to hear everyone's input.

    Age: 22
    BW: 87-88kg
    Height: 5ft 8inches (I think)

Last lifts from Advance Novice SS

    SQ: 170kg = 374lbs (1x5 with a 5% back off set)
    BP: 99kg = 218lbs (3x5)
    Press: 69kg = 152lbs (3x3)
    DL: 180kg = 396lbs (1x5)
    PC: 93kg = 205lbs (5x3)

    Lifts from the meet
    SQ: 200kg = 440lbs
    BP: 117.5kg = 259lbs
    DL: 225kg = 496lbs

    Here's the layout

    Heavy

    Squat and Bench
    1x5, 4x5 (back off sets 5-10%)

    Deadlift
    1x5, 1x5 (back off sets 5-10%)

    Light

    Squat
3x5@20% off from Heavy day back off sets

    Press
    3x5

    Power Clean
    3x3

    Medium

    Squat
3-4x5@10% off from Heavy day back off sets

    Close Grip Bench Press
    3-4x5

    SLDL
    3-5x5

Note that the meet was done on Sunday (3rd June). I wouldn't say it being an official meet from a governing body, but it was more for people who love the sports of powerlifting or olympic weightlifting. Also I can post my lifts from the meet, if anyone is interested.

Looks like a pretty standard HLM set up.

Two things you might consider is to off set the heavy days for each lift so for instance:
    Squat: -H--L--M-
    Press: -M--H--L-
    Pull: -L--M--H-

Second thing is that the press is already light compared to the other pressing lifts so you could prolly do more than just 3x5...
