    Ya, I'd say try a lower stress week, a ramping week, then see if you can continue. If not, probably time to change things up, at least if you are unable to get your recovery issues sorted out.

    Thanks Wolf, what's a ramping week? A higher stress week after the light one but not a "work week"?

    More or less correct, but I would call it a "work week" that's just not quite as hard as the program proper. YMMV but I've generally found it useful to have a week that ramps you back up in both volume and intensity from the low stress week to the full throated program. Details are program and lifter dependent, but you might go half or a little more than halfway back towards the full program in the ramping week, and then begin it in earnest the following week.

    starting strength coach development program
    Just wanted to report that the 2 week recovery period (1 deload + 1 ramping) went very well, I have set new PRs on week 3. I suggest this proactive approach when you feel you are about to stall.
