The lower shoulder rolls forward (scapular protraction). At least for me. I've not checked on anyone else!. However, I believe it has to.

Does your arm or hand ever get tingly doing that?

Very occasionally. However, without a pillow I can also sleep on my back without pissing off my wife!

    My experience agrees with JohnW's.

In a hotel recently, the mattress was firmer than at home, which was excellent.
But the pillows were much bigger and fluffier, which sucked. Way too much pillow.

Yes, I don't like thick pillows that prop my head up. Always end up with a giant headache. Also don't like no pillow as my head is too far back. I'm very picky about pillows and it's near impossible to find one I like. Seems the best I can do is, it's good enough I guess.

I imagine this would include bourbon.

Most certainly. Why spend money on sleep supplements when you could buy bourbon instead?

I've been attempting side sleep the last couple nights. Proper pillow position for the neck, finding a comfortable shoulder position, and pillow between knees seems to help.

I sleep worse when I drink for some reason. Maybe I need more practice.

I don't drink often, and when I do it makes me tired.
