A few times a day I try to do some toe touches. Stretch out those tight hamstring and lower back muscles. But of course most days I tend to forget to stand up and do them

Best recovery I had was when I was sitting most of the day. A top quality ergonomic office chair is very important, and getting up and walking around a lot is key too.

You could always replace your office chair with a bosu ball...strong core for recovery ya know.... snicker...
You joke, but our shipping/receiving clerk just got a chair that is a bosu ball with a back support.
