    Default Training with elbow pain

Hi everyone, I tried doing shot put for the first time a few days ago just for fun and hurt my right arm. Now whenever I tried pressing the last few workouts my elbow was in severe pain. I guess this is a case of golfers elbow.

Should I just avoid training until it heals? Or just do low body movements like squats and deadlifts? And will doing chin ups help? I'm currently doing a basic HLM routine.

Golfer's elbow, or tendinosis in general, is a chronic condition, not something you get from doing shot put one time.
If the pain does not get worse while training you should just continue doing what you are doing, whatever it is you got will eventually heal anyway.
