    Default DOMS and working out

Ive been working out on and off for a year but taking it serious now to make some gains ...

I rarely get DOMS, but if I skip a week or something and dont deload properly I do.

Should I stop working out completely when my body is sore, or can I just focus a minor workout on other body parts ? Like if my legs are sore can I bench and press, or is it better for the body as a whole to rebuild before more stress ?

If you have mild to moderate DOMS, just workout as normal. If you have severe crippling DOMS, then stop being an idiot. If you have taken a layoff, then you need to titrate the volume back up so you don't cripple yourself.

Huge difference between coming back and doing 3 sets of 5, getting sore, but still able to train again with some mild discomfort Vs. coming back, doing 5x5, and having trouble being able to operate a vehicle.
