    Hello!

I was diagnosed with "Focal full-thickness chondrosis of the posterior weightbearing portion lateral femoral condyle". I don't really have any pain on squats and deadlifts, just some discomfort. I've been told to strengthen my legs so that's what I'm trying to do. I've been running 5/3/1 for a while now and have made nice progress, but I'm concerned about my knee. Mark, any advice? The doctors and PTs have been wishy washy. Some saying do what I can and others saying to stay off it.

Staying off it will result in worse long-term outcomes. You need to train.
