Hell the same happens when I do romanian Dls with the empty bar.
I can make my back hurt for days by flexing my lumbar spine in a bodyweight squat. Or when I do crunches, the hanging toes-to-bar exercise or otherwise flex my spine sharply.
But I can squat and deadlift w/o hurting my spine at all, when I maintain extension.

But, my back is not yours. I assume you've taken video and are confident you are not flexing your back when lifting?

My form is good. I film myself regularly.
