    Default How to program phase 3 pulls when can't do power cleans?

    I've been doing phase 2 of the program for a while now and I think it's time to transition into phase 3, because squats are just getting way too heavy.

    First of all, I'd like to clarify that I do barbell rows after bench. I had a few attempts with the power clean and they look real fun, but I can't nail down the racking on shoulders part ffs, thus I left them out.

    In phase 3 you're supposed to deadlift less frequently, but the power clean still helps the deadlift to keep increasing. Obviously the row doesn't have the same impact on the deadlift.

    So the question is: How am I supposed to run phase 3 with rows?

    You're not. You're supposed to make the effort to learn the clean.
