Wide vs narrow stance
Hi rip,
Was having some knee issues doing very wide stance squats. Always thought that the wider you go, the less stress on the knees and the more on the hips.
Today I tried to squat with a shoulder width stance, or slightly wider, I had to use far less weight than usual (only got about 390#) but my knees didn't hurt at all.
Does that make any sense to you ? How does stance width impact the knee moment ?
