I used to always take my breath at the bottom and hold it for the whole lift, but I saw this video where Ripp recomends to take your breath at the top.
I'm still a novice should I be implementing this tecqnuice in my lifts? If so should I be pausing at the bottom. Would this effect the development of the muscles worked?

BTW I'm doing Stronglifts instead of SS which recommends to take your breath at the bottom.

What did the people on the Stronglifts forum answer to your question?

Can't wait until he realizes the low bar squat is also wrong.

You should write him a strongly worded letter.
