Anyone have some good ab-wheel work/progressions?

Looking to layer it into my assistance work. Not much found in the "search" function.

Depends on current strength, but something like

    plank
    swiss ball roll out
    kneeling ab wheel roll out
standing incline ab wheel roll out
    standing ab wheel roll out
standing decline ab wheel roll out
    1 arm roll outs

Look up Ross Training for some ab wheel stuff.

Start off doing a little, then do more as you get stronger.

One you become an advanced ab wheeler, I would suggest doing it conjugate style and have a dynamic and max effort day. Some may say that this only works for equipped ab wheel work. Those people would say RAW ab wheel is best served with high frequency and intensity (@8.5-9 on the Richter Scale).

Can you do a normal roll out from your knees? If so the best way I've found to progress is once you can do a few sets of 10 start adding weight on your back. You can progress forever like this in the smallest jumps you want.

I do them in an 8 minute density block. I started off only being able to do about 12, and got very sore from that, but after a few months I average around 90 from knees. I do them once a week before the prowler.

The best progression I know for getting good at ab-wheel from toes is to use a long wooden board and a power rack. If you lean the wooden board onto the power rack's safety, you can perform high-rep rollouts on the board with a fraction of your bodyweight. Lowering the safety over time provides a smooth transition to rollouts-from-toes on the floor.

I know this is not an ab wheel exercise but I've prefer doing Superman pushups. Supermans are very difficult. If you want to test your core strength try them.

I do 3 sets of these. 20, 15, 10. than I would follow up with side bends.
