If you're having a lot of trouble recovering and grinding through 3 days per week of adding 5 lbs to your 3x5 squat, then switching to increases twice a week is fine.
Currently running SS. Hitting prs on squats now (335x5,5,5) and today 340x5,5,4. I feel I would benefit from progressing to a light squat day as outlined in PP advanced novice. Should I do this now, or continue linear progression with attempts at 340 again or reset etc. basically---is it ok to go to advance novice with a light squat day even without having reset my squat stalled out on it. Thanks.
