Mark Rippetoe presents the Starting Strength Power Rack manufactured by Texas Strength Systems. A classic, versatile, and extremely sturdy c-channel design that's been in use at WFAC since 1980.

    couple questions:

    - Does it come with a pair of the short bolts to rack the bar? The TSS site just says (2) pair of 1.25" rods (sabres)

    - Does it have to be bolted down to prevent tipping?

It comes with a pair of bolts. It does not have to be bolted down since it's very heavy. I have several racks here in the gym that are not bolted down.
