Train your mind to... "Embrace the Suck"
Monday’s workout, heavy squat day, was awesome. Bar flew up, 315 never felt so light so to speak. Yesterday Thursday, 90% squat day, 285 felt like shit. Overhead press at 175 was hard but went up well, and 335 deadlift was hard but doable. Just seamed like the squat was not there. I completed my work sets, but they felt like shit. Oh yeah and I got my first nose bleed on squats.
Some days just suck.......

Light Day is properly written "Light Day."
A bad day lifting is better than a great day as a cripple.
I consider those days as PPRD, Post PR Depression. Its a mano-depressive process. First so happy, then realizing, hmm it will take anything from month to a year to get there again. Sucks!!
A few of my sessions suck, a few are great, but most are just putting in the work.
Weirdly, I have zero success at predicting ahead of time. I've had great sessions that I was sure were going to suck, and vice versa.
That's an impressive press!Overhead press at 175 was hard but went up well,
