    Age: 18
    Sex: male
    Weight: 190lbs or 87kg
    height: 6'1 or 186cm
    Squat: 5x170
    Bench press: 5x61
    Deadlift: 5x242
    Press: 5x90
    Power clean: 110
    General description of training history:
I started 1 year ago with training.
Switched 5 weeks ago to SS with a squat of 125 at the beginning.
Because I did eat a lot in the last year of not that successful training, my bodyweight was already at 189. Because of my high carb dietary, it raised 2,5lbs/week, which was to much in my opinion.

Any special diet and whether you are currently gaining or losing weight:
Two weeks ago I switched the dietary from a high carb one to this one:
Major part: meat, eggs, milk, rice

    3700kcal

    fat 225
    carbs 200
    Protein 221

My problem is, that since my dietary change my bodyweight doesn't explode, but my squat got an seriously problem. Even a reset didn't help. I use 5lbs increments.
I did stall the press the last workout (5, 3, 2 reps). My squat was quite close to failing at the last rep.

    Is the dietary my problem?
Which bodyweight should I desire? My body fat at the moment is at 20% maybe.

Check your form first. It's probably a form problem at this point.

If those macros are right you are eating way too much fat. Half it and give some to protein and the rest to carbs.
No reason for your stalling you need to get your form checked.

I did set the fat this high because I styled my dietary more paleo like. And also because I'm in fear of carbs because as far as I know, much carbs cause huge weight gain. But my bodyweight is already high.
Rippetoe mentioned it in the book, so I thought it is okay.

Reading the technique forum, my form isn't that good. But I did read the basic tips and cues there, which did really help in having an idea of a correct squat.

Your bodyweight isn't high. Your muscle mass is low.

Good luck with the program. At 18, you are the ideal age. Learn the form, lift, eat, and get strong.

Am I the only one starting to think that most nutrition-related questions are an attempt at trolling?
