I found I needed micro plates for my presses as I neared the end of LP so if you don't have those you might look at getting a set.

I've been (sorta) doing novice LP for a while. Current work-sets are:
S-185
P-95
BP-122
DL-200
Not earth-shaking numbers, I know, but up quite a ways from the start (duh).
I was recently approaching an equipment limit. At lighter weights I wasn't too worried about missing a rep, but it was getting to the point where a miss would have none-trivial consequences. I replaced my crappy squat rack with something much more substantial, with actual spotter bars. One less excuse now...

There is a guy in the Training thread above, who sells micro plates. From what I recall I'd rather have his, but the ones I got work. 4 sets of half pounders, so I can go up 1 to 4 pounds per session. Especially important when rehabbing a torn rotator cuff. (non-lifting related fall)
