When I do power cleans, sometimes the bar hits my balls. How do I stop this from happening?

One of y'all told me it could be because I'm not bending my knees enough before jumping. I'll try doing it next clean session and see what happens.

It sounds like it could be a knee bend issue (too little bend for the jump). Or, you're beginning the pull too low or too high on the quads.

Notice in this video that the bar doesn't hit her in the balls:

    In my experience, yeah.

    1) They don't rip at the bottom of a squat.
    2) They keep your bits and pieces nice and tight.

I've had a doctor tell me, almost verbatim, that my boys hang pretty low. With boxer briefs and good form I have no issues. Your sack shouldn't be anywhere near the bar unless your hips swing them forward before the bar passes them, which would be odd. A form check video would be helpful.

I'm real close to getting a camcorder soon. When I do, I'll go to a university gym and record myself there if they let me. I'll try and get boxer briefs too.
