This query probably goes somewhere else, but, since you've recently been in full-gearhead mode recommending quality leather weightlifting belts, I was hoping I could pick your brain on other leather stuffs. Any recs for high quality leather belts (everyday-wear) and/or leather boots/shoes?

I have a couple of belts I had made at Durango saddlery in Ft. Worth, but I can't recommend them now. The belts are very good, but customer service is shit. I have 2 pair of Whites boots, and I can't say enough good stuff about them. And that's about all I've got.

Might try Old West Reproductions out of Montana for an everyday belt. He's mainly in the business of holsters and pistol belts, but does offer everyday belts as well. Good stuff.

Try the Duluth Trading Company. The nice thing with this company is their 100% satisfaction guarantee is a real one. You can literally wear something for years and send it back for a refund.

Thorogood Boots. Model 804-4821 is one of the best lace-up work boots ever made.

You obviously don't own a pair of White's. Or Nick's.

Actually, that took longer than I thought, given the title of the thread and the generally twisted disposition of our community.

If you're in the Midwest you might try the Hide Side in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. Their basic policeman-style belt is fantastic and very durable. I've worn the same one for years, almost every day. Cool knives as well. They don't seem to have an online store, but there's a phone number and I know they ship.

Danner boots are excellent - made in America and great quality.
