Referring to the following podcast: #233: Diet and Nutrition Advice From the Doctor of Gains by The Art of Manliness | Free Listening on SoundCloud

Firstly, thanks for putting yourself out there and sharing quality information!

You mentioned in the podcast -- and elsewhere -- that creatine is a good supplement to be taking before a workout. Obviously there is a plethora of information out there on how creatine should be taken including, but not limited to, going through a loading phase and always taking it with carbs.

Could you please give us the Dr. Jordan Feigenbaum version of how creatine should be taken? What protocols should be used?

The official Dr. GainzZz™ protocol for taking creatine is as follows:

0400- alarm goes off. Check Instagram. Fall back asleep
0405- 2nd Alarm goes off (appreciate that you set your second alarm to be 405)
    0406- Void
    0407- Weigh self
0408- Start coffee and bacon, separately of course.
0409- Make glass of ice water. Put 5g creatine monohydrate in it. Drink. Marvel at yourself.
0410-2300- Make a series of potentially regrettable life decisions that, on balance, work out in your favor.
2301-0359(+1)- Try not to completely close off your own airway

I've got a machine that helps me out with that.

One minute voiding might be a bit of a challenge, but I think I can pull off the rest, lol! Thanks!

Do you find that it dissolves well in ice water? I put mine in with my coffee, the idea being that it dissolves more completely in a hot liquid. Alas, one of my potentially regrettable life decisions that has worked out in my favor did lead me to a bacon-less land.

It dissolves just fine for me. And it sounds like you need to reconsider...

So, you get about 5 hours a sleep a night? How do you manage? I wake up at 4 AM, barely survive on 6 hours. By Friday, I am burnt. Of course, I am not quite the specimen of physical perfection you are and I am older at 42, but still.

I'm tired a lot, also cranky. Also stimulants.
