Overhead pressing movements and SS
I'm totally lost on why "press 2.0" is one of the recommended lifts versus a push press or a strict press. I don't see anyone else doing this and to me it seems like a very sport specific exercise that was invented for no other reason than to circumvent WL rules that didn't allow the legs to really move. The problem, as I understand it, is that the legs do move and this is why it was eventually dropped from competition as the judging became more and more ridiculous. Anyway, back to SS: I get that the criteria for exercise selection is using the most muscle mass to lift the greatest weight. So why not push press?

Not a bad Q, but it's been discussed many times on this board. Search function.
