Default Squat Help - I Suck

    Hey all,

Would appreciate help fixing my squat technique. I feel I'm not flexible enough to perform it properly. Rip said not to sacrifice back angle for depth, but I don't think I can get below parallel without rounding my lower back (didn't he also say squatting at or above parallel will lead to injury?). I also can't place the bar any lower without pain in my shoulder due to an impingement. Anyway, here's what it looks like.

(sorry about camera angle, i'll film at 45 next time)

I can't see anything that needs fixing.

dunno if that weight is heavy for you but you need to "bounce" from the bottom more.

Try allowing your knees to travel forward a bit more.

You have a lot of potential ankle movement to use there.

You guys really think there's something to fix? It looks like he has short femurs, his squats look better than mine. Well, mine look better because the bar is going all bendy, but you get the point.

    Hey all,

thanks for the input. I tried focusing on extending my knees and bouncing quicker from the bottom, but the weight may have been too heavy in order to do so.

    appreciate your thoughts

edit: whoops, forgot to only post 3rd set, which starts at 1:10

Yeah, those look pretty good. The stance looks like it could be narrower, but I'm still learning to judge angles on videos.
