If memory serves, Rip said it. Again, IIRC, he said it was stupid that crossfitters thought working out till you puke was the epitome of training and that it made no difference and was not beneficial.
On a side note, my buddy is a combat controller, and he said that when they drowned him for training, it added like a minute and a half on to how long it took them to drowned him the next time, lol. But I think that is where the novice stage ends, lol.
