Broke my prowler V-card today.....OMFG it wrecked me...a lot. I dry heaved a couple times since I hadn't eaten all day. Woah. I'll say this, at the time of prowling, I hated it, but now that its about an hour after, I feel fucking awesome

That is motivating. Seriously motivating. I can't wait to get mine in December. Is it wierd that most people on this board agree that dry heaving is considered motivating?

No, it shows you're not a pussy who's afraid of hard work.

A wise man once said that throwing up from hard training is a learned response.

Which wise man? Was this learned response considered beneficial?

If memory serves, Rip said it. Again, IIRC, he said it was stupid that crossfitters thought working out till you puke was the epitome of training and that it made no difference and was not beneficial.

On a side note, my buddy is a combat controller, and he said that when they drowned him for training, it added like a minute and a half on to how long it took them to drowned him the next time, lol. But I think that is where the novice stage ends, lol.

It's Rip, and no. I don't know to what extent he was talking about prowler though.

He (Rip) means that it has foolishly become a badge of honour among certain circles as people project that event as being what is important, rather than other, more sensible and quantifiable measures.

In short, douches try and accomplish this to look cool.

EDIT: I say this as a former runner who has had the sprinting induced shits.

Sprinting induced shits? Is this "runners trots" or is it more like the name sounds. Because to me, sprint shits would be explosive, while runners trots are just like, "You need to go poop now." kind of a thing.
