    Default lower back tightness

I've been squatting for about 3 months and just recently took a video for the first time, and took the point you basically gave me by not posting it here on the forum..

Looking at other videos on here I can see that my knees were sliding forward and depth was questionable.. so i'm working on that.

Since the weight has gotten heavy I've noticed my low back gets very tight, and I'm not sure if this is just a normal "pump" or if it is a sign that i'm losing lumbar extension at the bottom of my squat.

By the time I finished bench pressing the tightness had subsided, and there is no pain... is this something that should be felt with a proper squat?

    Thanks

It might well be something that is felt with an initial growth spurt in response to training in a young man. The erectors can grow faster than their fascias can stretch, producing this tightness and pain felt all along the muscle bellies on each side of the spine. Sound familiar?
