Hey, I had my first day today on SS.

I have been training for years but feel I have a poor barbell training background so I wanted to catch up my squat/deadlift to my bench and learn the clean.

I don't know my previous 5rep maxes exactly, but I've pushed quite a bit of weight in higher rep ranges.

Anyway, I did 200 on squat today, 115 on press, and 235 on deadlift.

It was all with good form and if I went any higher, the form started to get worse and the speed of the movement became noticably slower(esp on squats), so I picked rather conservative but still somewhat challenging weights (enough to get me a little sore I'm sure, but nothing major)

Just wanted to know if it's ok for me to advance a little quicker through the program (adding cleans maybe after 2 or 3 workouts, adding pullups/chins perhaps in week 2 or 3) since I'm not a complete novice (I don't know if I'll be able to add 15lb to my deadlift for 3 weeks doing it 3x a week for instance, like it says in PP).

    Thanks,
    Matt
