    Hey Coach Rippetoe,

    I bought Starting Strength a couple weeks ago and have read through it all. I am a complete novice and would love to get your opinion on my squat form!

    If you could let me know what I'm doing wrong then I can look at that section in the book and try and fix it. The first set I noticed I wasn't getting deep enough and was buttwinking so hopefully I fixed at least some of it in the second set. Am I using my posterior chain correctly?

    Since you were kind enough to put a decent song behind the video, I'll tell you that you are supposed to drive your butt UP, not back. See how your knees travel back, your back angle becomes more horizontal, and the bar doesn't go up immediately as a result? You have to hold your back angle constant as you drive your hips, or the drive doesn't translate into the bar going up. Keep your chest up and drive hips up, not back.
