    Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to learn the Power Clean. Could you please take a look at my video and give me some tips at anything I may be doing wrong?

I'm 56kg. and my Deadlift PR is 5x1 75kg. On the video I'm trying to PC 32.5kg.

    Thanks in advance,

    Toad

The video is in slow motion so it's easier to spot anything. Feel free to fast forward...

Wow...why do you even bother asking for a form check when you've just started this excersice and are doing EVERYTHING wrong. Read the book or at least check the wiki.

Just to be a bit nice too...:

Start with the bar closer to you, set the back better, be faster with the elbows...

BTW I did read the book, but while practicing things did not feel as simple as in the theory. I'll reread the book for further cues.

Your pulling timing is off. I notice that you try to pull before the bar clears the knees. It needs to be contact with the thigh before the jump begins. Also, there's no shrug at the top and you have this odd habit of bending back at the hips to catch the bar.
