I hate to hijack your thread, but I am curious about the highland games. How might the uninitiated get involved? Are there any particular organizations and/or websites that you would suggest for those interested in learning more?

Best of luck - I look forward to seeing how you progress.

Volume day. Stayed in the gym for 3 hours because of a lack of equipment.

    Squat
    45x5x2
    135x4
    225x3
    Work Sets
    315x5x5

Bench - Been stuck at 185 for too long now.
    45x5x2
    135x4
    155x2
    Work Sets
    190x4
    185x5x3
    185x4

Dead lift - Been having trouble with this recently. My legs are so dead from squatting that I can't find the strength to progress my dead lift.
    135x5
    185x4
    225x3
    315x1
    Work Set
375x3 - Noticed that I rounded my back too much so I decided to stop. Didn't want the potential injury here.

Thinking I may need to switch up my program. I've been doing the work without progressing except with my shoulder press and squat, still gaining weight so I feel that I'm probably eating enough. Also Squats and Deads in the same day are too much right now.

    45x5
    95x4
    135x3
    185x1
    230x5x2

    Overhead pin presses
    140x3x2
    135x5

    Bent over rows
    45x5
    65x4

    135x8x3

    Decline sit-ups

I'm not very good at selecting the weights for partial movement work.

How long have you been doing texas method? Did you reset when you started it?

I was having a lot of trouble squatting and deadlifting on the same day prior to starting TM, but when I did start it, I took a very big reset because I was worried about handling the extra volume. I think this reset at the beginning really helped me a lot and after a few weeks I was having no trouble deadlifting on the same day as squats and my deadlift strength started increasing pretty rapidly.

Don't know if this will help you, but it seemed to help me quite a bit.

I reset everything a little bit. The squat gains have been fine, in fact its the only thing making any real progress still. While my other lifts are stallling out.

My deadlift was progressing just fine at my old gym, probably from the GHR work. My school gym doesn't have a GHR so I don't know what exactly needs to be done here.

My bench has been stuck at 185 for sets across for over a month even after a reset. Shoulder press has always been a struggle.

I'm thinking I might want to change up and try out 531.

Power Cleans are getting dangerous without bumpers. Having to lower the weight slowly makes my arm tingle so I'm a little worried about doing that.

    Pull ups
    20lbs - 5,4
    BW - 7
