Since my work sets were a going to be a PR tonight, I decided to film them. Been awhile since I filmed my squats, and I'm a little disappointed. So, how bad is it?

I don't like filming from the direct side, but it's 30 degrees outside, and I wasn't opening the garage door to move shit around.

Oh, and this was the last of three sets @ 285. I'm less weak, but still weak.

From what I can tell from that video, they look pretty good. A tad high, but nothing major. They are low enough to engage the hamstrings and I'd call them a full squat, but they are not legal powerlifting squats, if that's what you're looking for. Take another shot from right behind or from an angle and more can be said about technique.

Looking at the crease of the hip relative to the top of the kneecap, you can see these are about 2 inches high:

If you want full-depth, you're gonna need to get lower.

Nice squats. Just out of curiosity, did you get sore (DOMS) after going deeper even though you were using 20lbs. less? I guessing you did.

El Viejo: Don't know about DOMS yet, just did these a few hours ago. Will report back. Felt more "wrecked" tho.

    Thanks for the help guys.
