What are thoughts about eating fast food in order to increase calorie and protein intake.

For example I am starting to hit Mcdonalds after workouts and downing 3 double cheeseburgers for about 1500 cals and 75g of protein.

Is this a good idea and counter productive?

What if I were to eat 3 double cheeseburgers everyday for 2 months?

    My troll-dar is firing.

If you have spent any time here, any time at all, you'd already know the answer. SS:BBT and 70sBig.com are your friends.

It's a good idea, and it's not counter productive.

3 Double cheeseburgers for 2 months won't kill you. But everyday? You'll get sick of them. Try GOMAD, or half GOMAD since you haven't got a huge amount to gain.

SS:BBT is Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training. PPST is Practical Programming for Strength Training, which you'll undoubtedly see on these forums at some point.

Fast food is good until it's not good.

you clearly have your head on straight. MickeyD, The King, and Elsie the Cow should be your best friends over the next two months. Just don't forget the Squat Rack.

    When I find a BK located next to a McD's I like to do a Mc 1/4 pound-whooper. It's a whopper stacked on top of a 1/4 pounder like a big Mac.

There's a BK right by my work, so 4 double cheese and a shake is a meal I am very familiar with. Hard to complain when it's under $7. I'll ditch the buns and shake when I'm not trying to gain. Fast food is your friend when bulking.
