so i went in to my chiropractor/ART guy for some elbow/tricep issues.

after the treatment, he recommended i start stretching my triceps more (makes sense), then do some rotator cuff work with rubber tubing and rear delt raises to "strengthen my rhomboids and postural muscles."

or I could just deadlift 300+ pounds. no?

Does he know you strength train frequently? My PT gave me similar advice after my shoulder surgery(ies). These "specialists" often give out advice that would benefit only sedentary people, not those who lead active lifestyles.

I'm not saying he doesn't know what he is doing, but they aren't often the best people to go to for advice in regards to lifting weights/strength training.
