Default Recovery day on Texas Method

I have taken your advice regarding the programming I should be doing (the good morning thread if you can recall).

I am doing the Texas Method, and as for the Recovery day I have decided to do the Power Clean as the first lift, and the day looks like this:

Power Cleans - ramping to a heavy single (and trying to go as "heavy" as possible) and then performing 3 sets of 2.

Push Press 3x3 2.5 increase every week

    Light squat 1x5

question is: are the power cleans going to affect the recovery process ?
my best powerclean is 92.5kg (205lbs) and I usually cant go heavier than 80kg on the recovery day anyway, because of the volume done 2 days before. can I keep it that way without worrying about the programming?

I ran the Texas Method with power cleans on light day. I was still able to put in a good performance most days and hit PR's at a good rate. When I run it again I'm putting the 2 day rest after the volume day. That shit fucks you up. The intensity day is hardly draining at all.

Oh, and to answer your question. No, power cleans aren't terribly draining or fatiguing.
