For tall guys, i find i that its quite difficult to squat to parallel without losing tightness at my back. A narrower stance suits me well. Any of you other tall guys work similar? What about you manlets?

Narrower is generally better than wider. Eases the stress on my hip flexors.

I'm short. I've found that a narrow stance doesn't work very well for me; I go a bit wider than shoulder width. I still point toes out, and push knees out.

    I am 5'8"

My squat stance has to be wider than shoulders or I cannot get deeper than a quarter squat.

I am 6''5'' and I use a pretty wide stance with toes way beyong 30 degrees.

Never tried narrowing it, I have the feeling it will make hitting depth harder.
