    Hello,

I am Indian Lifter, your average indian gym junkie that you see at the gym busting his ass and getting maybe 15 lbs on his 1RM every 5 months, walking around with rolled up sleeves with his super cool 13 inch arms.

Since my strength sucks, i found this site to build some impressive numbers and to not look like someone that is a concentration camp survivor. I saw that people have made crazy strength gains on this program and am going to give it everything i have since it is the summer time and I have 3.5 months to train and eat as hard as possible before sophomore year of college begins.

Competitive Plans: Maybe a Powerlifting Meet in December? Not really sure. Ill have to see where i am in October/November.

    Current Statistics:

    6'1'' 169 lbs, Tested 1 Rep Maxes
    Squat: 190
    Bench: 155
    Deadlift: 320
    Press:115
    Power Clean: 145

For some reason, when i clean, i cant clean with a plate on each side but when there is a 35 and a 10 on each side, its not a problem. Probably just a mental thing..

Today: All i did today was test maxes that i attained from 6 months of BBing training.

Diet: Im vegetarian by religion so GOMAD and lots of nuts will be essential to my diet. Ill be starting with 2/3 GOMAD this week and 3/4 GOMAD the following week and then, GOMAD the week after.

Cardio: 1-2 light sessions on the weekend to keep the heart pumping.

I plan to start my squat at 135 lbs. According to Rip's YNDTP, my squat should be up to 185 @ 3 x 5 on May 24th.

Default Mr. Blink's Starting Strength Log
    Hello,

Im trying to get stronger so lets start this with a bit of info:

    Im vegetarian by religion.

    Height: 6'1'' Weight: 167 lbs

    1RMs:
    Squat: 180 lbs
    Bench: 145 lbs
    Deadlift: 295 lbs
    Press: 105 lbs
    Power Clean: 130 lbs

    Same person?

Vegetarian and starting strength don't really complement eachother btw, that's going to seriously limit your gains. Eggs are your friends!

Cut the cardio, and read the book. You'll need those two days of rest, especially without meat.

    best of luck

A friend of mine who is a football player reccommended that i do this program to see an increase in my lifts. I live in PA.

Ill take your advice and drop the cardio days.

I think so. And to add to those numbers you posted for mr blink, he recently claimed to have deadlifted 320 for a single last week. Now this new guy shows up with the exact same height, bodyweight, lifts, heritage, religion, and eating practices.

I don't think we should dogpile this dude. Many Hindus have trouble gaining weight on SS thanks to the vegetarianism.

Some diet info for you here:

    http://powerliftingacademy.com/veget...-powerlifting/

Your not really doing that well with your diet. For example that pasta, why not put some fresh vegetables/greens into it?

If you used a store bought sauce, effectively all you are getting is a carb-sugar hit. If you make you own sauce you can load it with olive oil, and whatever the case, make sure to add liberal quantities of cheese on top.

You need to get better acquainted with all the forms of cheese. You may also want to take some vitamin & mineral supps and creatine too.

You still need to post up half naked pic's of yourself, preferably from a cell phone whilst looking in the mirror.

avacados (straight up or made into guacamole) and hummus are awesome.

Guac and hummus both contain extra virgin olive oil which is also awesome.

Don't buy off the shelf guac or hummus, they are shit. Make it. It takes 3 minutes.
