    so im gonna be logging my dad's progress on here. He has two jobs so i switched him to the texas method because SS is just too much for his recovery abilities

    this was yesterday. He has done all of this before and could have had better numbers but his 2 jobs are just too much for SS. This is why i changed him into the TM.

    Ignacio, how old is Papa? I augered myself into the ground last March doing that kind of volume. It was my first time ever being overtrained. It sucked. A lot. Please keep an eye on his recovery, watch his warm ups to see if he moves easily before loading up the bar. Otherwise, it's great that you get some guy time with the old man.

    he is 40 years old, but the major thing affecting his recovery are his 2 jobs. He took like two weeks off because SS was kind of overtraining him, he just went back in , doing the intensity day on the TM. Thursday he'll do 5x5. His squat looked pretty solid on Monday compared to two weeks ago. I will take some videos soon.

    I'm not being critical at all, just speaking from my experience earlier this year. I think it is fantastic that you two share this time together, especially doing something that you both will benefit from for years.
