Whenever I do body weight squats for a warm up, my whole back rounds a lot. It's pissing me the fuck off. Is this something I should worry about? When I actually squat with weights, it's not as bad. Is that normal?

Some people have trouble holding the arch without something to arch against. Not a huge problem unless you're trying to make it to the CrossFit Games, as that's the only competitive endeavor where the "air squat" is a contested event. If you're not old and decrepit, you might want to work on it, but sometimes old and decrepit people just have some limitations.

Your hips and pelvis are unstable and will fall off any day now.

And even if your back is rounded there, no big deal.

So I tried pointing my feet more outwards (~45 degrees) with a medium stance and it feels somewhat better and easier to shove the knees out...

Have you tried with a broomstick?

If you think the stick against your back is too "cheaty" then you could try broomstick overhead squats.
